Enjoy a day of exploring majestic caves at Elephant cave, then go through Ma Da valley, swimming in the clear blue water of Ma Da lake. The tour ends with a 600m swim to explore Tra Ang cave.

This trek is perfect for those with little hiking background but want to get a true jungle and cave experience.

8:00 a.m-8:30 a.m: Our car and English – speaking tourguide pick up you from your hotel in Phong Nha and transfer you to Jungle Boss headquarter.

8:30 a.m: Team meeting to plan the trip, and clarify rules and regulations in the National Park.

9:30 a.m: Depart for Elephant Cave by van.

10:00 a.m: Arrive at the trek departure point and start trekking through the jungle to the Elephant cave.

10:00-11:00 a.m: Explore the Elephant cave.

12:00 p.m: Reach to Ma Da Lake- swim into Ma Da crystal lake.

12:45 p.m: Enjoy BBQ lunch.

2:00 p.m: Start trekking to Tra Ang Cave.

3:00 p.m: Arrive at Tra Ang Cave.

3:45 p.m: Swim into Tra Ang Cave to explore 600m Tra Ang Cave.

4:30 p.m: Start trekking to get back to Ho Chi Minh road.

5:00 p.m: Arrive at Ho Chi Minh road, and enjoy cold drink on the road.

5:30 p.m: Drive back to Phong Nha and your hotels in Phong Nha. Tour ends.

Lunch is well prepared by the Chef & Porter Team right before your arrive the campsite. The food is so fresh and healthy. You can find more of what example meals are like:

Lunch: Fresh spring rolls made with pork, vegetable, cucumber, and herb-mixed salt called "Muoi cheo" - a specialty in Phong Nha.
Vegetarian option: Boiled eggs, vegetables, vegetarian fried spring rolls.

FAQs

1. Why do I have to sign the Release Form

We require customers to sign our Release Form to confirm that they accept this is an adventure tour and they have to follow our guide’s instructions and safety rules. Customers also accept that they have some responsibilities for their own safety and environment protection.

2. How can I protect my electronic devices when crossing rivers, swimming or canyoning?

All electronic devices will be collected and stored in a dry box (25cm high, 15cm diameter) by our tour guide before swimming. Please bring your own dry-box or dry-bag if you have really big cameras, just to make sure! Also, please note that you will carry the camera by yourself if you have a professional and big camera, the same for its tripod.

3. Is there any toilet during the tours?

To protect the pristine ecosystem of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, all our adventure tours utilize composting toilets. These facilities are set up within a private tent and include a standard seat and a waste collection bucket. After use, please kindly cover the waste with the provided rice husk to manage odor and prevent bacteria growth. Toilet paper and hand sanitizer are always stocked nearby. We ask all guests to strictly use these designated toilets and refrain from defecating in nature, ensuring we leave the park untouched for future explorers.

4. What should I notice during the tours?

You have to be responsible for the environment. All illegal activities are forbidden. Do not separate from the group, do not jump on rocks or rotten trees, watch your steps, respect the local customs. Please read the environmental protection rules and survival rules here.

5. Can I join the tours if I don't know how to swim?

Yes, absolutely! Non-swimmers are welcome on our tours. You will be provided with a life jacket and have a dedicated safety assistant nearby at all
