1:15 pm: Meet your tour guide at Kiwi Book cafe

1:30 pm: Tour briefing.

1:45pm: Hit the road. Start cycling to Bong Lai valley which is around 10km away from Phong Nha center. The road ahead is lined with tall, vibrant green bamboo swaying gently in the breeze. On either side, friendly cows and buffaloes graze leisurely, adding a sense of tranquility to the picturesque scenery.

2:30pm: Arrive at Tang’s house where you will have a chance to experience the real rural life in Vietnam: Do farming, lead the ducks, ride the buffalos, go fishing, try the steamed sweet potatoes and can’t stop laughing.

4:00pm: Say goodbye to Mr Tang and his sweet ducklings and little garden, ride your bicycles to a hidden boat station where the boat is waiting for you. Head to Phong Nha Funky Beach.

Little note: We would recommend to wear slippers/ flip flop over shoes. On your cycling trip, you are likely to ride on the muddy paths through the paddy fields. Sometimes the boat is aground due to the shallow rivers, get off the boat and help the boatman push the boat. I’m sure you can’t help laughing.

4:30pm: Arrive at Phong Nha Funky beach, play so many exciting water games in the wonderful sunset. Have a sip of cocktail and snacks if you want.

At around 6:00pm, cycle back to Kiwi Book Cafe in Phong Nha. Tour ends.
